Jordan, a 6-foot-5 wideout who plays at Florida’s well-known IMG Academy, is ranked as a 3-star recruit and No. 88 player at his position in the 247Sports composite rankings. He had multiple offers from Power 5 programs, including Georgia Tech, West Virginia and Georgia. But he committed to the Scarlet Knights days after taking an official visit to Rutgers’ campus last weekend.
Jordan is the second-highest ranked player in Rutgers’ 2018 class, which now stands at 21 verbal commitments a week before the early signing period begins.
The Scarlet Knights’ class was ranked 46th in the country and 10th in the Big Ten prior to Jordan’s commitment. Jordan is the fourth wide receiver in the class, joining Zihir Lacewell, Paul Woods and Eddie Lewis.
