“Thanks to everyone that has stuck by my side throughout it all and pushed me to follow my dreams,” Conti wrote in his announcement. “With that being said I’d like to announce that I will be attending Rutgers University for the next 4 years!”
Conti is listed at 6-foot-2, 215 pounds and is not ranked in the 247Sports composite ratings.
“It just felt like home. I love the coaching staff at Rutgers, it’s a great staff,” Conti told 247Sports. “I wanted to continue the trend of Jersey [players] to Rutgers and I think it’s going to be a really great place that’s on the uprise.”
Five of the six players in Rutgers 2019 class so far are New Jersey residents.
