Johnathan Lovett has decommitted from Rutgers, he announced Monday night on Twitter.
The 3-star running back/athlete from Cherokee High School in New Jersey visited Iowa for the Hawkeyes’ 14-13 win over Michigan on Saturday.

Lovett has eight offers, including ones from Penn State, Maryland, Iowa and Boston College. He’s the No. 1,023 prospect and No. 73 athlete in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports.
Lovett has been committed to Rutgers since late June but picked up a Penn State offer in October after visiting. He’s set to visit Maryland in early December, according to 247Sports.
