There’s nothing like a refreshing, cold beer to quench your thirst after a hard day’s work.
Starting Thursday, the beer that Purdue fans may be drinking might be Boiler Gold. Thanks to People’s Brewing Company in Lafayette, Ind., Boiler Gold will be available in Tippecanoe County liquor stores and other outlets that carry People’s Brewing Company beers.

The design of the beer can includes black and gold colors and features the Boilermaker Special.
According to jconline.com, Indianapolis retailers should have Boiler Gold by Thanksgiving, while the Chicago area should have the new brew in December.
The deal with Purdue to produce the American golden ale allowed for only enough time to stock Purdue’s Ross-Ade Stadium for the Boilermakers’ first two home games of the season. The first supply, which sold at $9 per can, sold out by halftime of the game against Ohio on Sept. 8.
Boilermakers fans, wait no longer. Boiler Gold can soon be yours outside of Ross-Ade Stadium.
