Purdue forward Caleb Swanigan just keeps on raking in the hardware.
A day after earning Big Ten Player of the Week honors for the fifth time this season, the Boilermakers sophomore was named Lute Olsen Award Player of the Week and also Naismith Player of the Week on Tuesday.
The awards follow a week in which Swanigan averaged 25 points and 13 rebounds per game in wins against No. 25 Northwestern and No. 17 Maryland.

Swanigan was previously named Lute Olsen Award Player of the Week in December following back-to-back 20-point, 20-rebound performances. And last week he was named a finalist for the Karl Malone Award, given to the nation’s top power forward, and he’s considered a front-runner for Big Ten Player of the Year.
On the season, Swanigan has averaged 19.1 points and 12.8 rebounds as Purdue has surged to 19-5 record.
