Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm has put the finishing touches on his staff with the Boilermakers, per the Journal & Courier’s Nathan Baird. And he may have set a Big Ten record for coordinators on a coaching staff in the process.
While the individual members of the staff were previously known, the reporting of their titles Thursday help clear up exactly how Brohm’s staff will be composed.
There will be two co-offensive coordinators (Brian Brohm and Tony Levine) as well as a passing game coordinator (JaMarcus Shephard) on offense. There will also be two co-defensive coordinators (Nick Holt and Anthony Poindexter), and a special teams coordinator (Levine again, he’ll be a busy man).

One can only wonder how they’ll get by without a running game coordinator.
Every coordinator except for Shephard came over with Brohm from Western Kentucky, where he put together the No. 1 scoring offense in the FBS last season with 45.5 points per game.
