Jake Replogle continued his habit of pressuring opposing quarterbacks Saturday.
The 6-foot-5, 289-pound Purdue defensive tackles recorded five quarterback pressures during the Boilermakers’ 34-31 overtime win over Illinois. The five QB pressure brings Replogle’s total for the 2016 season to 27, which ranks first among defensive tackles, according to Pro Football Focus.

Replogle was named to the Chuck Bednarik Award and Outland Trophy watch lists before this season began. He’s showcased why while helping Purdue jump out to a formidable 3-2 record to start the season.
It will be interesting to see if Replogle can continue to haunt opposing quarterbacks. The senior faces Nebraska and Iowa in consecutive weeks.
