Purdue’s men’s basketball team started this season on fire, going 23-2 over the first 25 games of the season.
Since then, however, the Boilermakers have lost their last three contests to Ohio State, Michigan State and Wisconsin. In those three games, the Boilermakers lost by a combined total of 8 points.
On Sunday night, Purdue is hosting its second-to-last home game of the season when it faces Penn State. The team will look to break its losing streak against the 19-9 Nittany Lions, but won’t be 100 percent healthy.
Forward Vince Edwards — who averages 14.9 points, a team-high 7.8 rebounds and 3 assists per game this season — has been ruled out after sustaining a sprained left ankle in practice on Saturday. He is considered questionable moving forward.

Edwards is one of eight Boilermakers to have appeared in every game this season to this point.
