Purdue basketball is about to graduate one of its best classes of seniors likely in program history, a group that many fans were and still are very thankful for.
But before they walk across the stage, the Boilermaker seniors wanted to let fans know how thankful they were for them.
The group released a statement via the basketball team’s Twitter account on Tuesday night to show their appreciation.

The letter starts by saying the group wants everyone to know how thankful that they are and how proud of their accomplishments they are.
“We are leaving behind a great group of guys, who definitely know what it means to be a part of this program,” the statement said.
It then says from the moment they stepped on campus, they knew it was home and they were welcomed with open arms.
They touched upon their NCAA Tournament appearances, World University Games appearance and ability to take part in the 50th anniversary of Mackey Arena.
“We have been tremendously blessed to represent Boiler Nation and know that without your financial support, we would not have had the opportunities we have had here at Purdue to better ourselves as student-athletes and, more importantly, as men.”
