The 2018 College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships are taking place at 9 p.m. ET on March 29 in San Antonio, Texas and Purdue will be represented in the 3-Point Championships.
Senior Dakota Mathias was selected and he will be a part of the eight-man shooting competition. Mathias ranked sixth in the country this season in 3-point percentage at 46.6 percent.

Mathias’ career 41.9 percent 3-point shooting ranks fifth in Purdue history. He also has the most 3-pointers made in school history with 250.
The 30th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will be televised on ESPN2. It is the first time since 2015 that Purdue has been represented in the event. Jon Octeus, in 2015, competed in the slam dunk.
