Purdue football landed its 11th recruitment of the month on Tuesday, as Class of 2019 defensive back Nyles Beverly announced his commitment to the Boilermakers.
Beverly is a 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback out of Nordonia High School in Macedonia, Ohio. The 3-star prospect took to Twitter to pledge to the Boilermakers.

“With that being said, I am extremely excited to announce that I am verbally committing to Purdue University,” Beverly wrote on Twitter.
In all, Beverly received 17 scholarship offers. In addition to Purdue, he was being pursued Cincinnati, Iowa State, Michigan, Minnesota, Rutgers and Pitt, to name a few.
Beverly is the No. 43-ranked prospect from Ohio in the Class of 2019 and the No. 91-ranked cornerback in the class, according to 247Sports 2019 composite rankings.
With Beverly’s commitment, Purdue football’s Class of 2019 now ranks No. 23 in the nation and No. 6 in the Big Ten.
