Purdue fans remember Joe Tiller for the heights he reached during his tenure with the Boilermakers, but they’re not the only ones with fond memories of him.
Before Tiller came to Purdue he was the head coach at Wyoming, so the Cowboys are honoring Tiller with a helmet decal:

Tiller coached at Wyoming in 1997 and 1998 as offensive line coach and offensive coordinator, and then returned as head coach in 1991. He stayed until the 1996 season, after which he left for Purdue.
Wyoming is the second team to honor Tiller with a helmet decal. Minnesota did so before playing Purdue in Week 6:
