Cravaack is the fifth commit in Purdue’s class. Defensive back Elijah Ball committed Sunday.
Cravaack (6-foot-5, 224 pounds) is ranked as the No. 72 tight end in the class and No. 60 recruit from Ohio. He had 16 offers, according to 247Sports, including ones from Oregon State, Wake Forest, Ohio and Akron.
Purdue’s 2018 class — the first full class under new coach Jeff Brohm — is ranked 72nd in the country and 11th in the Big Ten after Cravaack’s pledge.
