Purdue picked up its first outside linebacker commit for 2018, as Evander Craft announced his commitment to the Boilermakers on Tuesday.
Craft, a Glen Ellyn, Illinois, native, is the 22nd prospect to commit to Purdue’s 2018 class. He tweeted out his commitment note Tuesday afternoon.

According to 247Sports, Craft is an unrated outside linebacker prospect. He had only one offer, which was from Purdue. Craft joins the Boilermakers recruiting class which is ranked 53rd nationally and 12th among all Big Ten schools.
He’s also the third player from the state of Illinois to commit to the Boilermakers in the class of 2018.
