Former Purdue guard E’twaun Moore and the New Orleans Pelicans are moving on to the second round of the NBA Playoffs, as they finished off a four-game sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night with a 131-123 win at home.
In the victory, Moore contributed 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor and 1-of-3 shooting from 3-point range in 34 minutes. In addition, he added 3 rebounds, 3 steals and finished the game with a plus/minus of +7.

With the win, the Pelicans will take on the winner of the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference semifinals. Golden State currently leads that series 3-0, and Game 4 is on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
For the series against Portland, Moore averaged 7.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 steal per game while shooting 44 percent from the field.
On the season as a whole, Moore averaged 12.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He also shot 50.8 percent from the field and 42.5 percent from beyond the 3-point line.
