New Purdue coach Jeff Brohm announced eight new staff members Monday, including six assistant coaches and two support staff members.
The coaches, whose positions have not yet been announced, are Brian Brohm, Tony Levine, Nick Holt, Reggie Johnson, Anthony Poindexter and Dale Williams. The support staff members are Greg Brohm and Robert Sampson.
The most notable of these coaching additions is Brian Brohm, Jeff Brohm’s younger brother. Brian Brohm starred at quarterback for Louisville, then played three seasons in the NFL, two in the UFL and three in the CFL. Most recently, he was quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator under his brother at Western Kentucky.
Levine spent three seasons as head coach at Houston from 2012-14, going 21-17. He spent last season as Western Kentucky’s special teams coordinator and co-offensive coordinator.
H0lt, Johnson and Williams also coached under Jeff Brohm at Western Kentucky, while Poindexter comes from UConn, where he was defensive coordinator and safeties coach.
Greg Brohm, Jeff and Brian’s older brother, served as director of football operations at Western Kentucky, and Sampson was assistant director of football operations at Western Kentucky.
