With the Big Ten championship on the line late in the fourth quarter Saturday night, the Penn State defense came up huge.
Trailing 38-31 and facing fourth-and-1 from the Nittany Lions 24-yard line with a minute left in the fourth quarter, Wisconsin put the ball in the hands of star RB Corey Clement.
Penn State DBs Marcus Allen and Haley Grant stopped Clement at the line of scrimmage, effectively sealing the title for the Nittany Lions at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Penn State certainly has a storied tradition, but this play will likely go down as one of the greatest moments in program history.
