Redshirt freshman DT Immanuel Iyke, who served nearly five years in the United States Marine Corps right out of high school, led the Nittany Lions onto the field before their game against Iowa.

Franklin said last fall, via the Centre Daily Times, that Iyke “looks like an NFL player.” He made Iyke do 50 up-downs in practice for “going too easy” on the offense during drills last year, too.
