Penn State QB Trace McSorley joined elite company during his the Nittany Lions’ second-half rally against Wisconsin at the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night.
With his 70-yard touchdown pass to Saeed Blacknall during the third quarter, McSorley tied the school record for most touchdown passes in a single season. It didn’t take long for him to stand alone atop the leaderboard in that category, after connecting with Saquon Barkley for an 18-yard touchdown pass to help Penn State take a 35-31 lead with more than 13 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

McSorley’s 25th touchdown pass of the season help him surpass Darryl Clark (2009) and Matt McGloin (2012) in the Nittany Lions record book.
McSorley has four touchdowns, the last one helping Penn State take its first lead of the game.
