The honors continue to pile up for Saquon Barkley.
Penn State’s dynamic running back was named the Rose Bowl Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday for his performance against Iowa on Saturday.

The sophomore ran for 167 yards on 20 carries and caught a 44-yard pass in the No. 12 Nittany Lions’ 41-14 win over the Hawkeyes. It was his fifth game this season with at least 99 yards on the ground.
Barkley, being the competitor that he is, didn’t think he played a great game against Iowa.
This season, Barkley has 1,055 yards, averages 6.3 yards per carry, and has scored 13 total touchdowns in nine games. He’s generated some Heisman buzz in the last few weeks as the Nittany Lions creep toward the Top 10 of the College Football Playoff rankings.
Barkley ran for 1,076 yards and seven scores as a true freshman in 2015.
