Kirk Herbstreit has been a fan of Penn State’s game day atmosphere for a long time. The ESPN analyst will see it again first hand on Saturday night when he calls No. 2 Penn State’s highly anticipated home meeting against No. 19 Michigan.
Leading up to the game, Herbstreit said that he thinks Jim Harbaugh’s team will have its “hands full” with Penn State’s white out crowd on Saturday night (7:30 ET, ABC).
“When Penn State is good and they’re playing a ranked team and they’re highly ranked themselves, I don’t know if there’s a better, more intimidating atmosphere than the white out in State College,” Herbstreit said Thursday. “So Michigan will have their hands full.”
Herbstreit’s full comments on the game, including how he thinks each offense will try to attack the opposing defense, can be found here.
