Penn State sophomore guard Josh Reaves is expected to miss the first three games of the season, according to a release.
Reaves suffered a lower-leg injury, though it wasn’t specified how or when. There is also no indication as to what the injury is.
As a freshman, Reaves averaged 6.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, though he played well at the end of the season, scoring in double-figures in two of the last three games.
Penn State opens the season against Albany on Friday, then plays Duquesne on Sunday before facing Grand Canyon. Reaves is expected to be back when PSU plays No. 1 Duke on Nov. 19
