Just two days before the 2018 NFL Draft, former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is a dad to a brand new baby girl, according to reports.
NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt broke the news on Twitter, but did not have the name.
Congratulations to @saquon Barkley, who just became a first-time dad today. He was so excited when he called he forgot to give me the name of his new baby girl. Congrats, Saquon. The draft will be the second-biggest thing that happens to you this week. See you tomorrow!

Brandt said Barkley called him and was so excited that he forgot to give the name.
Barkley and his girlfriend Anna Congdon announced the pregnancy in March via Instagram and later that month, Barkley said he was ‘truly excited to be a father.’
“I’m excited. I’m not sure of the gender, that’s going to be a surprise, but April’s going to be a big month for me,” Barkley said in March, according to Greg Pickel of PennLive. “Some people aren’t even blessed with the opportunity to have kids, and I’m able to have one, and I’m truly excited to be a father.”
The star running back named former Nittany Lion teammate and standout safety Marcus Allen as the godfather.
“Saquon’s going to take great care of that baby,” Allen told reporters. “And I’m going to take great care of that baby, as well. ‘Cause I’m the godfather.”
