Beaver Stadium held its collective breath when Saquon Barkley limped off the field after Penn State’s first play of the game against Temple.
But the star running back returned and looked very much like himself on a 55-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Penn State held on to win, 34-27.

The footwork is really something to behold. Barkley averaged 5.9 yards per carry last year, and is doing more of the same as a sophomore.
Barkley ran for just 13 yards on 8 carries not including that touchdown run, but missed the entire first half.
