Penn State RB Saquon Barkley limped off the field after going down awkwardly on the first play from scrimmage against Temple.
But after missing most of the first half, Barkley returned with just more than two minutes left in the second quarter to a huge ovation from the crowd.

Barkley carried up the middle on that first play and got spun around as he went to the ground. He couldn’t put much weight on his leg, and looked to be in considerable discomfort on the sideline.
