Penn State QB Trace McSorley had a big game in Penn State’s 42-13 win over Michigan this weekend, and on Monday he addressed his performance in an Instagram post. “The underdog just turned into the wolf but the hunger steady grows,” he wrote, along with a snapshot from the victory.
McSorley worked past a first-quarter interception to put together a great game against the Wolverines, finishing 17-for-26 for 282 yards and one touchdown through the air. He also ran for the ball 11 times for 87 yards and three touchdowns, a performance that helped him earn Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week honors.
The junior returns to action Saturday on the road, when the No. 2 Nittany Lions play No. 6 Ohio State.
