Penn State’s 2018 recruiting class keeps getting better.
Already owners of the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, the Nittany Lions picked up another commitment as 3-star ILB Nick Tarburton announced his choice on Thursday. Tarburton, from Perkasie, Pa., is ranked by 247 Sports’ Composite as Pennsylvania’s No. 12 prospect. He’s also rated No. 12 nationally as an inside linebacker.
“I’m coming home!!! #WeAre #LBU #WildDogs #107kStrong,” Tarburton wrote on Twitter.

Tarburton is 2018 commitment No. 11 for Penn State coach James Franklin and his staff. The class is led by 5-star recruits Micah Parsons and Ricky Slade, and comes on the heels of the Nittany Lions putting together a top-20 recruiting class just last week for 2017.
Earlier Thursday, Franklin hinted at Tarburton’s new commitment before the player revealed it himself. Franklin went to Twitter and used the hashtag #PAPride among other PSU-specific hashtags.
