A pair of Big Ten schools are in the mix to grab one of the top safeties in the 2018 class.
Isaiah Humphries, a 4-star recruit from Sachse, Texas, listed both Penn State and Indiana in his top 8 schools when he tweeted his list out Thursday afternoon. The Nittany Lions and Hoosiers were joined by Colorado, Cal, Mississippi State, Utah, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

Humphries is considered the 19th-best safety and No. 226 overall prospect in the 2018 class by 247 Sports.
Penn State currently has the top-rated 2018 class with six commitments already. Humphries visited the Nittany Lions’ campus for a camp over the summer.
