No. 9 Penn State faces No. 11 Washington in the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday, looking to end its season on a high note. The program released a hype video for the game a few hours before kickoff, but it starts with one of the team’s toughest moments of last season.
The video begins with the closing seconds of the 2017 Rose Bowl, which Penn State lost to USC on a last-second field goal. A few seconds later, there is a soundbite of Trace McSorley saying how important it is to finish strong and then Nittany Lions highlights are playing with a Matthew McConaughey voice-over.
It is quite the combination, and it should pump up Penn State fans for the final game of the season.
