Penn State made one change to its depth chart leading up to Saturday’s game against Michigan. Redshirt freshman Will Fries is now listed as the starting right tackle for the Nittany Lions.
Veterans Chasz Wright and Andrew Nelson have taken most of the snaps at right tackle for Penn State this season, but both players have had injury issues, and it’s unclear if they’ll be available against Michigan. Wright started the Nittany Lions’ last game at Northwestern, while Nelson did not travel with the team. Nelson and Wright are listed with an “OR” between them behind Fries on the depth chart.
Fries has appeared in all six of Penn State’s games this season, making two starts.
