When No. 9 Penn State defeated No. 11 Washington 35-28 on Dec. 30, the Nittany Lions were crowned the winners of the 2017 PlayStation Fiesta Bowl.
Now, the hardware that Penn State earned for that victory is in Happy Valley.
The Penn State football Twitter account released pictures of the 2017 Fiesta Bowl trophy on Saturday afternoon, stating that the trophy is “finally home in Happy Valley.”

In the victory, Penn State quarterback Trace McSorely completed 32 of his 41 passing attempts for 342 yards and 2 touchdowns, while running back Saquon Barkley rushed for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns on 18 carries. In addition, wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton made 5 catches for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns.
