Adrian Amos and Saquon Barkley both played their college football at Penn State, a connection that will always link them. But Amos, a safety for the Chicago Bears, said Nittany Lions pride won’t matter when he sees Barkley, who was selected No. 2 overall by the New York Giants in the 2018 NFL Draft, on the field.
“We’re gonna collide in that hole. You’re going to see what’s going to happen,” Amos said with a smirk in a video posted to Twitter.
"He's one of the best college running backs I've seen…"

Amos also had complimentary words for Barkley.
“He can do it all. You can’t really say he has a weakness. … He can catch it out the backfield. He’s fast, big, explosive,” Amos said. “He’s one of the best college running backs I’ve seen.”
The Giants and Bears are scheduled to play in East Rutherford, N.J., at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 2.
Amos played at Penn State from 2011-14, before entering the 2015 NFL Draft. The Bears selected him 142nd overall (fifth round). Barkley is one of the most-hyped rookie running backs in recent memory, with some experts saying he has the potential to be a franchise-altering player.
