Are Penn State fans trying to help Purdue in its head coaching search?
That maybe the case, as some Nittany Lion fans have started the hashtag on Twitter “#Purduzzi” in reference to the notion Narduzzi is on the verge of leaving Pitt for the vacant Purdue position.
Since ex-Purdue coach Darrell Hazell was fired as the Boilermaker’s head coach, the ire Purdue fans had for former LSU head coach Les Miles to come to West Lafayette, Ind., has calmed down. Instead, Penn State fans have started the new trend which maybe a result of Pitt’s upper-hand in the recently revived Panthers-Nittany Lion rivalry.
PSU fans are so afraid of Narduzzi that they're trying to start a rumor that he's going to Purdue. Nobody is dumb enough to believe that.

Some fans have even taken it upon themselves to fake flight details, tweet fake information and even update Narduzzi’s Wikipedia page to try and keep the trend alive on Twitter.

Whatever the case for Penn State fans for trying to keep a ridiculous trend alive, they’re certainly going all-in with in and doing a wonderful job in doing so.
