Penn State will be without defensive end Garrett Sickels for the first half of Saturday’s game against No. 2 Ohio State due to a suspension.
ABC reported the news right before kickoff, but no word was given as to why Sickels was suspended.

Torrence Brown started in Sickels’ place.

It’s a bit of a blow to the Nittany Lions, who finally have linebackers Jason Cabinda and Brandon Bell back in their starting lineup.
Sickels has started all six games for Penn State this season, and has 16 total tackles and a team-leading 2-1/2 sacks.
UPDATE: Sickels returned to the lineup in the second half and made an immediate impact with a third-down sack of Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett.
