The Penn State Coaches Caravan is coming back.
This spring, football coach James Franklin, athletic director Sandy Barbour and other Nittany Lions coaches will go on a four-day, seven-stop tour, Penn State announced Wednesday. The Coaches Caravan is returning after a hiatus in 2016.
The tour will span from May 8-11 with all stops coming in Pennsylvania. Here is the schedule:
May 8 – York (lunch); Philadelphia/King of Prussia (evening)
May 9 – Hazleton (lunch); Harrisburg (evening)
May 10 – Pittsburgh (evening)
May 11 – Altoona (lunch); Williamsport (evening)
The events will feature meet-and-greets with Franklin and the other coaches on the trip, who have not yet been named. More details of the 2017 Caravan will be available in mid-March, according to the school.
Penn State started the Coaches Caravan in 2012 when Bill O’Brien was the head football coach.
