Penn State’s White Out game in 2016 was an unforgettable upset of Ohio State that changed the trajectory of the program. Nittany Lions fans are hoping for another memorable win when Jim Harbaugh comes to Beaver Stadium in 2017.
Penn State announced that its “White Out” game for the 2017 season will take place on Oct. 21 against Michigan. No time has been set for the game, but it will almost certainly get a prime-time TV slot.

The game will offer Penn State a chance at revenge. The Nittany Lions were humiliated in the Big House in 2016 before winning 9 straight games and the Big Ten title. One of those wins came against Ohio State in a white-out environment.
Before that game, Urban Meyer quipped that he wished Penn State “saved whiteouts for other people.” Jim Harbaugh will get a taste of the atmosphere this year in a game that could have Big Ten and national tile implications.
