Penn State will hold ‘stripe out’ against Nebraska on Nov. 18
Penn State’s final home game of the 2017 season will feature a special look at Beaver Stadium.
The Nittany Lions will hold their third annual “stripe out” on Nov. 18 against Nebraska. A kickoff time won’t be announced until much closer to game day. A stripe out features alternating sections of fans dressed in blue and white in Penn State’s 106,000-seat stadium.
The program started holding stripe outs in 2015 with a home contest against Rutgers. The stripe out game was against Temple last season. Penn State won both games.
Earlier in the week, Penn State announced its annual “White Out” game in 2017 would be taking place on Oct. 21 against Michigan in what will promises to be a huge game for both teams. The stripe out comes four weeks later and could play a role in determining both Big Ten East and Big Ten West races.
