Penn State missed out on Class of 2017 4-star linebacker Nathan Proctor, though it probably didn’t have room for him anyway.
Proctor, the No. 148 player and No. 11 outside linebacker in his class, had 30 offers and picked between Virginia Tech, Penn State and Pitt. He announced Sunday at the Under Armour All-America Game.

The Indian Head, Md., native has an official visit to Penn State planned in January, so there’s still a chance he reconsiders the Nittany Lions before National Signing Day on Feb. 1.
Here are Proctor’s senior-year highlights.
Penn State’s 2017 class ranks 13th nationally and third in the Big Ten with 18 commits. It has the top-ranked class for 2018 with seven pledges.
