Paterno has been widely criticized for not doing enough to stop Jerry Sandusky’s child sexual abuse. Penn State’s former defensive coordinator is serving 30-60 years in prison after being convicted on 45 of 48 counts against him. Paterno was fired in November of 2011 and died in January of 2012.
