Penn State is still very much in the running to land 5-star defensive end Micah Parsons. So are three other big names from the Big Ten.
Parsons released an updated list of his top nine schools on Friday night. The Nittany Lions, a program Parsons decommitted from in April, are on the list and joined by Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Miami and Florida.

Parsons is considered the third-best recruit in the 2018 class and the top defensive end. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Harrisburg, Pa., native held a verbal commitment to James Franklin’s program for more than a year, but said he felt like he committed “too soon” when he reopened his recruitment on April 23.
Ohio State and Penn State are still the two most likely landing spots, with all of Parsons’ 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions going with either the Buckeyes or the Nittany Lions.
While Penn State has the in-state ties, Parsons has been building a bond with the Buckeyes. He named his dog Brutus and said he plans to visit Ohio State’s camp this summer. Parsons also has said he plans to attend Penn State’s summer camp.
Michigan and Nebraska are longer shots to land the talented pass rusher, but both Jim Harbaugh and Mike Riley have been hot on the recruiting trail so far in the 2018 cycle.
Parsons’ recruitment figures to be one of the more intriguing of the 2018 class, wherever he winds up playing college football.
