Albany grad transfer Joe Cremo, one of the most sought after graduate transfers in all of college basketball, has named Penn State among his top five transfer options for next season.
According to a tweet by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein Wednesday evening, Cremo has narrowed his options to Penn State, Creighton, Texas, Oregon and Gonzaga.

According to NCAA graduate transfer rules, Cremo will be eligible to play next season no matter which program he joins.
Last season with Albany, Cremo averaged 17.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. In addition, the 6-foot-4 guard shot 45.8 percent from both the field and from 3-point range.
Cremo announced on Twitter on March 30 that he will not be returning to Albany for his final season. Since then, he has been recruited by a number of schools, including blue-blood program, Duke. However, Cremo’s final year of college basketball will ultimately be played at one of the five schools listed above.
