James Franklin is proud of the Nittany Lions wrestling team.
Penn State knocked off No. 1 Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon to win the 2017 dual meet championship — the latest accolade for Cael Sanderson and his Nittany Lions. Franklin wanted to give a shout-out to Sanderson and the Penn State wrestlers, and he did so with a tweet — and with some interesting outfits.
Franklin and the rest of Penn State’s football coaching staff came to a Monday morning meeting all wearing wrestling singlets.

Franklin admitted that it was “#NotAGoodLookOnUs” but it was certainly good for a laugh.
The Nittany Lions coach was not the only one across college football wearing a singlet in the past week. Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy wore one in a video last week promoting the match.

Let’s hope this is a short-lived trend in college football.
