Unless you’ve been living under the proverbial rock for the past several weeks, you know that Jordan Rodgers, brother of Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, won ABC’s ‘The Bachelorette’ and is now engaged to Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher.
One person who is fully aware of this is Penn State coach James Franklin, who coached Rodgers at Vanderbilt. The topic, of course, came up at PSU’s media day Thursday.
Here’s what Franklin had to say, courtesy of Audrey Snyder:
The excitement went away a little bit when we were in Chicago at a wedding with a bunch of former players. So we had a pretty good idea of how the show was going to end ahead of time because I talked to his buddies.
I’d love to get Jordan and JoJo on the sidelines for a game. I think that would be pretty cool. Open invitation, Jordan and JoJo to Happy Valley.
Then he went on to say a few things about his current players and nothing about reality television, before adding: “I could get you guys some really juicy inside information (on Jordan).”
He did not go on to reveal said juicy information.
Later Thursday, Rodgers appeared to accept Franklin’s invitation.
