Former Penn State defensive tackle Kamonte Carter is reportedly on the move again.
Less than two years after the Nittany Lions kicked Carter off the team, he is one of four players transferring from Pittsburgh, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Former PSU 4-star Kamonte Carter leaving Pittsburgh
Carter, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound Gaithersburg native, arrived at Penn State as a four-star recruit and the fifth-best Maryland prospect in the 2015 recruiting class.
However, he never played a game in a Nittany Lions uniform. After redshirting as a freshman, he was kicked off the team in April of 2016 for a violation of team rules.
He found a home at East Mississippi Community College, the subject of the “Last Chance U” Netflix documentary, for a year before returning to the Division I ranks as a member of the Panthers.
