A former Penn State standout is staying in Pennsylvania for the foreseeable future.
Guard/center Stefen Wisniewski re-signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year contract, the team announced Friday. Wisniewski, who has been in the NFL since 2011, spent the 2016 season in Philly.

Wisniewski was drafted in the second round (48th overall) by Oakland in the 2011 draft, and also spent the 2015 season with Jacksonville. In his NFL career, Wisniewski has appeared in 93 games, making 83 starts.
At Penn State, Wisniewski was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in both his junior and senior seasons (2009 and 2010).
