WR DeAndre Thompkins has returned for Penn State after missing the second half of the Ohio State game and last week’s game against Purdue due to an undisclosed injury. Saeed Blacknall will still start at wide receiver, though.
Thompkins has 18 catches for 328 yards and one touchdown in six games this season.

Thompkins returned punts as a redshirt freshman in 2015, averaging 7.7 yards per return. He will return to that role Saturday against Iowa, it appears.
Thompkins was a 4-star recruit and the No. 33 wide receiver in the class of 2014.
