Asiedu — a junior at North Stafford High in Stafford, Va. — is the No. 82 recruit in the country and the No. 9 offensive tackle, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
The 6-foot-6, 265-pound lineman chose Penn State over Clemson, Georgia, Texas, Florida and others. He becomes the 12th member of James Franklin’s 2018 recruiting class and the sixth who is ranked in 247Sports’ top 100. Asiedu is the first offensive lineman in the class.
