The game is typically held either the third or fourth Saturday in April, and next year will be no exception. Penn State drew an estimated 71,000 fans to its 2017 spring game after capturing the 2016 Big Ten title.
James Franklin’s team will play its first regular-season home game of 2017 in Beaver Stadium on Sept. 2 against Akron.
