COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State coach Urban Meyer talked to the media on Wednesday night from the team room at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Meyer said the Buckeyes had a very good practice on Wednesday, but also talked about a number of other things.
- Meyer said he will occasionally force the ball to Curtis Samuel because he is “our best playmaker.”
- The Buckeyes have a “slew of recruits coming in.”
- Asked about the idea of Big Ten Friday night football Meyer said, “I did not know. We’ve got to find a way to beat Nebraska.”
- Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong was recruited by Tim Beck. Meyer said, “Everything we’ve seen on video … shows he’s an incredible player.”
