Friday’s most interesting storyline continues.
After early reports surfaced that former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott was being accused of domestic assault by his girlfriend, the story continues to unfold. Following the accusation, Elliott’s father made a statement claiming “Ezekiel has done nothing wrong.”
On The Rich Eison Show Friday afternoon, former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Michael Irvin received a phone call from Elliott. The two parties spoke earlier in the day, with Elliott telling Irvin that he was confident the truth would come out, but the Cowboys rookie had a more detailed account during their second conversation.

Elliott explained the situation to Irvin and told the Hall of Fame receiver that he “never got within 10 feet of her.”
There have been no criminal charges brought against Elliott, but this is a situation that continues to develop.
